If you're a regular reader, you know I love it when shopping and do-gooding combine!

Today, I'm reviewing a cool company called Uncommon Goods, which combines the two beautifully! 

Uncommon Goods is a very special company.  They support artists and designers and half of what they sell is actually handmade. 

Also, Uncommon Goods works to minimize their environmental impact, encouraging their artists to use sustainable or recycled materials, using environmentally friendlier packing materials, and printing their catalog on Forest Stewardship Council certified and recycled paper.

Best of all, Uncommon Goods partners with these non-profit organizations to give back to the community:

Now that's a company I can feel really really good about supporting!  (Plus hey, they have really cool stuff!)

Here I'm showing off the beautiful Sari Market Bag which is made from upcycled sari fabric woven with hemp by hand in India.  It's the perfect cool bag for a trip to the market or a day at the beach.
